Term 3 Starting - Wednesday 25th July to Wednesday 24th September 2024 (10 weeks)
Term 4 Starting - Wednesday 16th October to Wednesday 16th December (10 weeks)
Cost: $150 for 10 week course or casual sessions $25 (if space available)
With the complexities of life today, we’re all facing more challenges than ever before. Stress, pressure, sudden traumatic experiences — these factors can significantly impact our nervous systems, leading to dysregulation, anxiety and sometimes overwhelm. Being calm every moment is impossible, and our nervous system is not designed for that. In fact, a healthy nervous system is characterised by resilience and flexibility.
Learn powerful tools to gently soften the effects of stress, effectively maintain a healthy nervous balance, and fortify your resilience against the unavoidable stressors life throws at you we are offering this 10 week Yoga and meditation course.
We start the class with some simple and very relaxing techniques to bring the nervous system into a state of equilibrium.

These classes are appropriate for all levels from beginners to those who have been practicing for some time.
It is important in any Yoga class that you listen to and work at the level where your body is today. Yoga is non competitive, it is nurturing and healing.
The only prerequisite is that you are able to come down to the floor and get back up again.
Absolutley not, one of the many benefits of practicing Yoga is that you can improve your flexibility, along with this we will build strength in the muscles and bones.
Yoga practice will improve your ability to balance which is something we lose as we get older if we do not practice.
Another benefit is our nervous system is soothed and strengthened giving it the ability to respond to challenges in life with a healthy flexible resilience.
Absolutely not, Yoga is available for people of all sizes the only prerequisition is that you are able to get up and down from the floor.
If this is not possible for you, reach out so that we can discuss the possibility of chair Yoga, if there is enough interest, I will run a class of chair Yoga.
Chair Yoga is yoga postures all done in either a chair or standing up including the meditation portion.
